Day rate
One install, in and out. Flat rate wherever the job is in the UK.
Week rate
Several installs in the same week, or a job that runs on. No re-booking between days.
Self-collection
Collect and return the dolly from our Manchester base and pay only the hire rate.
All rates ex VAT. Delivery is charged on top of the hire rate — see below for how it is worked out.
55p a road mile from Manchester
The hire rate stays the same nationally. Delivery is charged by the road mile from our Manchester base, at 55p a mile for each trip, so it follows the real cost of getting a heavy, awkward item to site and back.
Drop-off and collection
Four trips: there and back to drop the dolly off, and again to collect it, priced on the one-way distance. Used for every hire longer than a day.
Driver stays
On a one-day hire the driver can wait on site, help with the install and bring the dolly back the same day. We price both ways and charge whichever is cheaper.
Minimum charge
Delivery is rounded up to the next £5 and is never less than £55, which covers most of Greater Manchester. Tolls are added at cost.
What that comes to
Delivery to the town centre, by road miles from our base. Every quote is worked out from the site's own postcode, so get a quote for yours.
All prices ex VAT, before any tolls. A one-day hire is charged the cheaper of drop-off and collection or the driver staying on site; longer hires are drop-off and collection.
Bring a pair of hands with it
Our trained technician will give you a hand from clamshell to cleats making your installation as smooth as possible.
Delivery + man
A pair of hands comes with the dolly to get it to the wall and into position, £35 per hire on top of the delivery price, and free on your first hire with us. Handy for solo installs and short-staffed days.
Delivery + electrician
A Tesla-certified electrician comes with the dolly and stays for the install itself, not just the equipment handling. Booked in advance, subject to availability.
Against buying, and against making do
